Hacienda del Viento 1370 CR 405 Taylor, TX 76574 512-924-1876 From the Iberian Peninsula and to our shores came horses particularly endowed with both a regal sense of beauty, and superb athleticism. To the world, they are known as Andalusians and Lusitanos. To us, they are friends, companions, and athletes.

Pam Menke, Trainer: Pam's Love with horses started early. At age 10, she begged her parents to buy her a miniature horse, promising to 'potty train' it. Though they said no, she was undeterred. For a time, she did the next best thing by teaching her cat Tom how to do miniature Hunter/Jumper courses. By the time she became a teen, she had found her way to the real thing, excercising horses for a rental outfit next to the San Antonio Zoo. As a young teen, she was a wrangler with a trail outfit at Medina Lake, TX. Always willing to ride whenever and usually whatever, Pam got the 'opportunities' to ride enthusiastic horses that no one else would. While living in California, Pam rode drill team for several seasons and then managed a boarding facility and was a working student for a hunter-jumper trainer. She has schooled under several dressage trainers, including one who was a prior member of the Spanish Riding School. Pam also worked at an Andalusian breeding farm in California. Pam enjoys working with the beginning and intermediate rider, imparting not just technique, but the love of the horse, and enjoyment of the ride.
